Overture Maps

The Overture Maps Foundation is dedicated to creating reliable, easy-to-use, interoperable, and open map data based on various data sources, particularly OpenStreetMap.

Overture's map data has some exciting features that can facilitate the development of geo-applications. Currently, however, the project is still in an early development stage; the data structure is not yet fixed, and support from geo-software is still very limited.

For future and existing projects, it can definitely make sense to engage with Overture Maps and consider it as an alternative to other map data. I am already using Overture Maps in projects and am happy to advise you on this.
